Q' RUMBO
IDEA AND CREATION: JAVIER PARDO, MARCIA CESPEDES
SOUND EDITION: JAVIER PARDO
GRAPHIC DESIGN: JAVIER PARDO
Year: 2021
Location: SANTIAGO (CHILE)
The Q’rumbo sound experience has been carried out by Marcia Césped Laplechade (Chile) and Javier Pardo Fuertes (Spain).
During the month of March 2021, the artists carry out a residency at the Museum of the Social Outbreak, seeking to collect testimonies that could make visible the feelings of people about the museum.
Carrying out writing and listening practices allowed us to weave a sound experiment that mixes the testimonies with the collective's writing exercises. Q'rumbo inhabits the space like an audio guide, mixing intertextualities that activate the listening body, inviting it to sensitively explore the territory it steps on and asking where its revolution will go.
The experience lasts just over 15 minutes and it is recommended to listen with headphones. It can also be enjoyed in other spaces outside the museum, wherever the explosion is present.
Presented in Festival Tsonami, Valparaiso Chile.
